My Dream Last Night!
In my dream I was at an Apostolic church service (about 1,000 in attendance) and different friends and acquaintances from different time spans of my past were in the audience. Kenneth Phillips was in charge of the service, and for some reason I was on the platform.
The musicians were in their place, but for some reason they were not playing as the service began. A lady was asked from the audience to come and lead off the service with a song. She came to the front and in total silence began to sign in sign language. I couldn't tell what she was signing, but tears began rolling down her face. No music!
After about a minute, another person came up to the platform and interpreted for the audience what the lady was signing. It was lyrics to a song that I've never heard before. It had a cadence that said "Jesus is Lord!" "Jesus is Lord!".
Knowing that the cadence was coming again, the audience began yelling, "Jesus is Lord!" "Jesus is Lord" when she signed it. All of this was done with no music and no melody.
Tears were streaming down the faces of the audience and I was being very touched when suddenly I woke up.
I believe God gave me a glimpse of what our church services must be like to the deaf and mute. They can't get emotionally into the music and sounds of others praying.
