I think that explains sewing/reaping pretty well;
and any protestations of exceptions are naive.
And while you are right about why i believe as
I do, I can say that I have got beyond a slavish
empty 'belief' here, which allows that although one
invariably--that's 'always'--reaps what one sews,
there will be many, many personal moments that
might seem to contradict this.
I have a new--and I mean new--pair of
snow boots, that I needed badly, only
because my mom and sis were shopping
with me, and they spoke them there, on the way to
the next store we were going to, after 3 misses.
I had gotten discouraged, finding no boots at all
in the first three tries; but that feeling dissolved
amidst the shame, and the sick certainty I
experienced the moment they corrected me
in the car, describing the boots we had yet to find.
Now that is a fact, although I'm fairly sure
where you might come down on the issue.
The fact you stated above, and quite often your
other facts, appear to be true enough from your
pov, but might be described as exceptions by most believers;
revealing your premises; but revealing them to whom?
There in the car yesterday, I'm curious what your response
might have been to my sister's aghast look, and confident
statement that not only were we going to find a pair of boots
in the next thrift store, they were going to be brand new, just my size, etc.

He that findeth not what he searcheth for will findeth that which he looketh for if he shall continue to searcheth.
Nothing to report, yet. Haven't really exercised my new ability, though, that I recall. Will have to think of something to test it with. Any suggestions?
Thought about it too late, but I should have spoken that the Giants would win the World Series in a sweep.

You are not going to believe this, bb! I put the curse to the test. Our dog has a lick granuloma on her back foot. Had it for months. Maybe a year. When she is allowed to lick it, it gets worse. Gets bigger, deeper, raw, red. She's on antibiotics for it, and she wears a cone collar. BTW, we've tried lots of collars, and the one she has now works best, but even that one isn't perfect: she can, if we're not watching her 24x7, bend around just right so she can reach the sore.
OK, two days ago, I told her she would not lick her sore anymore. I was earnest. Well, guess what! She didn't lick it all that day! Next day, she did. Pretty bad, too.
So, the curse didn't work.
Told you you wouldn't believe it!

For bb.

Bottom line, bb? You believe things that are not true. You are delusional. You really should get help.
Again, I'll ask how you know this, when you don't even understand what I'm saying a lot of the time? How can you know what I believe? Do I believe that my mom and sister manifested snow boots, there in the car? Yes, I do; but this is hardly unusual, to a believer? And it was after years of what I described above, the fake stuff, which I frankly have some trouble seeing the difference in, myself. But I would have bet my life that the boots would be there, v the "well, let's hope" feeling that usually comes...anyway, I'm living proof (to me, anyway) that this principle works.
This is kind of a ridic assertion of yours, T?
Even an atheist might pause at
"Habits of speech don't carry forward."
