My point is that it isn't a question about any one group, whether they do more or less, if ultraconservatives were doing it more than any other Pentecostal group, then the secular media with be prancing around holding aloft their severed heads. Just as they do with Muslims, and Roman Catholics.

I believe we are going to be circling the wagons maybe sometime soon (not speaking eschatologically) but this country is becoming extremely liberal, and the flood gates will open to an extent that no matter if you are a Cruzeematic, or an Ultra-ultraconservative we all we have the wolves looking at us like we are the same raw pork chop.

This bears repeating again. It was posted quite succinctly

So, it doesn't matter how much women cover/don't cover themselves, whether you live in a Muslim or western society, how many women you are permitted to marry, what religion you are, whether you speak with the tongues or men or of angels, men are susceptible to adultery, rape, incest, child molesting, human trafficking, ect ect.

So yeah, righteous Lot throws his daughters out to the men of sodem to be raped, concubines are raped and cut to pieces and used to rally tribes for war. Preachers with impeccable holiness standards commit adultery and rape their own daughters.

Oh, we thought it was safe behind these walls, but no, we are sleeping with the enemy.

Re: Prominent Memphis Area Pastor Resigns

It’s interesting to observe the “IF’s and WHY’s” concerning failure in the Church. Our greatest Teacher regarding this issue is, History. History is no different than watching the Seasons change. Summer is leaving, Fall has arrived, and Winter will be here soon.

History proves, Mankind has ALWAYS cycled in and out of failure and success. Israel was in this constant motion of back and forth, regaining lost momentum with God after finding themselves at the bottom again (and again). This is a constant that no Generation can avoid.

We will see this exact card play out in our own lifetime (if we live long enough), as the sun will have to set eventually, and the morning of a new day arrives. Man seems to rise to this wonderful level of Truth after humility and repentance, only to find the ugly demon of Religion (bondage) waiting to harness those people who have found grace and mercy.

Yes, we might drift away because of failed Religion, but the bottom will come (again) and Josiah will find the lost books that reveal our wandering and mistakes.
