Yes, I've seen these huge charm braclets and since one charm is a timepiece, it's considered a watch.
But, if the timepiece wasn't on there, it would be looked down on since it's a bracelet.
I know the "culture" and when you're inside that culture, you justify what you want. But, being on the outside looking in, they don't realize how inconsistent it all looks.
