Okay sorry. I've always associated dress with how you act - dressing for the occasion type thing. Guess I still do that.

Well, I loved dressing up and wearing a hat to church. But, not at home. At home and as I have gotten older, comfort matters. But, in my heart I am still a fashionista.

Hmm. Well, this isn't an issue for me. My standards have always been high. I feel that if I dress to please God and myself that everything else falls into place. At least it always has for me. I think that if I ever hurt my kids or husband in the past it would be because I was too strict and conservative and I expected others to come up to my level. My daughter now wears some things that I don't like. But I respect her as a person and I pray that she learns for herself what matters and is important. It is not right for me to force my thoughts on others. That is what I have learned.....to respect the person, even if I disagree. And I am so happy to know this, or our household could be divided over foolish things. Instead of loving each other and accepting each other for who we are and where we all are in our journeys, we could be pointing fingers and dividing ourselves all demanding our own way. What good would that do? And that would be sad. I am SO glad we are not there.

LOL! I tell him what to wear and pick out his ties and shirts. He doesn't care. And sometimes he comments on something I am going to wear. Okay, he's colorblind. lol
I have to say, "Hello, I am going to wear a jacket with this." lol It doesn't bother me.
The only thing that bothers me is that if I have something NEW, he always notices. Why can't he by like normal men who don't?

My husband is working out of town and I'm still in my pj's. I think I'll pour another cup of coffee. House is clean, laundry done....
