I'm sorry, Randy. Last time we were there, my son was 8 years old and vomited his meal in our truck. No one in our family has ever eaten there since. He is now 24. Thought you might like to share that memory of Burger King with me.

If there is one thing I do very well, it is cooking Mexican food - from scratch. So, no, we won't be going to Taco Bell. I may have eaten at Taco Bell in 1980 or somewhere around that. Eeesh!

Well, let's see how the crab cakes turn out.

Your dinner sounds very nice PO, but, I couldn't eat the crab,
because I don't like seafood very much....maybe and occasional
shrimp or 2 every now and then LOL!

Re: What's for Dinner Tonight?

Our local Catholic Church does Friday night Fish Fries during Lent. That's what we had. Baked Potato (not my favorite, but edible) or AuGratin Potatoes (your choice), cole slaw, rolls and all the fish you can eat. And believe me, it is some GOOOOOOD fish!! $7.50 per person. Plus a dessert if you want one (I never do).

Re: What's for Dinner Tonight?

We're trying to eat more veggies here at our house. I made a stir-fry for supper. It included carrots, onions, green and red pepper, sweet potato, jalapeno, garlic, and just for good measure, I threw in a bunch of kale. I stir-fried it with some sesame oil and then added soy sauce, and served it up with Jasmine rice. I wasn't sure if my kids would eat the stir-fry with the kale in it, but amazingly they came back for seconds!

I like the more meaty fish like Flounder or Salmon. Not the mushy kind. I wouldn't normally like the crab cakes, but I knew with the added ingredients, they would be great and they were!!! I put a check mark on the recipe I print out if we like it. That means I will cook that again.
