Something I feel so bad about

I was not able to help with the fund drive for Cindy...During that time everything you could think about went wrong...One of our son's got laid off his job...we had to help them, a death in Brazil that required our help, we had to re-register our work in Brazil because of new laws and that took a huge sum of money...and right when I thought things were ok and would send something late our van was stolen and we did not have insurance...Plus several other things...it all poured...at one time. I hope everyone forgives me because I thought the world of Cindy but I could not help on the funds. I did pray for her family and for each one that could give during that time.
I ask your forgivenss however I am sure Cindy understands....

Don't feel bad. Nobody expects everyone to be able to give.

Also when I donated, it was not a huge some in my opinion, but I gave not as an individual. I gave so that AFF could give, so that includes you. I gave for everyone so that this would be from our AFF family so they can know how much we love and miss Cindy..

that! IMO, true prayer is the greatest gift anyone can

I'm sorry that you've had to shoulder so much baggage, at some point we all have to go through such and its during these moments we truely see the hand of God. In my prayers Sis. Alvear

Sis Alvear, Cindy had such a heart for souls and for missions that I am very confident that her feelings would have been that if you giving had taken even one dime away from your work there in Brasil, she would not have wanted it at all. In fact, I have a feeling that if she knew in Heaven that you had sent money for this, she would have tried to figure out a way to get it back to you

I KNOW that you were praying for her family. And honestly, I have learned the hard way, that even tho the financial support is good and often necessary, there is honestly NOTHING more powerful or more important than prayers. Don't worry another second about this. We all love you here

Sis. Alvear, you are a part of the AFF family and what others were able to do certainly took care of those who were unable to do anything. You did send flowers though. The floral stand that I sent was from all of us, including Sister Alvear. Sooooo, no need to feel bad. The Lord knew your circumstances, now we do, and I just kinda think maybe Cindy knew as well. I sure miss her, too.

Well, at least I feel some better...We have been going through a LOT but we know God is victor....and we win in the end...love you folks very much...

Same here... I wanted it to be from 'us' not from 'me'. So you were a part of that too. Consider it the donation I keep meaning to but forgetting to send you!
