Re: come clean what is your choloestrol?

FYI: Total cholesterol & LDL #'s are useless. What you need to watch is your HDL & triglycerides. To keep your HDL up, eat as much saturated fat as possible (yes, bacon & lard; as well as avocados, coconut, fatty meats, eggs, high fat dairy, cheeses, etc.) and to keep your trigs low, cut out the sugar & carbs. You want your HDL high & trigs low. Also, get a VAP test to see if your cholesterol is pattern A or pattern B. Pattern A is good. It means your cholesterol is "large, fluffy & buoyant." Pattern B is bad and means your cholesterol is small & dense. Low cholesterol is associated with higher death rates & heart disease. Cholesterol is important and is healing to the body. It could be elevated due to having high HDL levels - that's good. If it's high due to high triglycerides, that bad. Inflammation (due to high triglycerides) is damaging. The test docs run today for cholesterol is only a calculation of a bunch of #'s. A VAP test will break it all down & give you clearer results. Don't be fooled by the FDA's recommendations. The "heart healthy" diet doctors recommended is endorsed by Pfizer and Lipitor. No thanks! The Heart Healthy check mark on many products in the grocery store is a joke... it's bought, not earned. So, look into getting your cholesterol measured rather than calculated to find out what TYPE of cholesterol you have... Pattern A or B.

1Pe 5:6-7 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Tit 3:2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

Psa 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
