My thoughts were that if any visitors were from that denomination they would be offended and NEVER saved because of one man's ignorance.
The second thing he preached in the same sermon was that a 16 year old girl got up during a service to go to the restroom and that she was abducted from the church foyer, taken behind the church and raped. He blamed her for wearing a slit in her skirt and used it as a jumping off point for rigid dress standards. This also I thought to be an ignorant statement because we all know that if lust is in the heart of a person that nothing a person wears or doesn't wear instigates his predatory mind.
I have purposed in my heart never to sit through another ignorant sermon, such as was preached by this ignorant man, no matter what his name or rank...

I try to do like RD suggested and avoid such settings. I believe I would have to walk out on that one.
