Freezer problem...

I was wondering why I was not gettin ice from the dispenser. Anyway, I looked at the thing... there is ice, but for some reason the "thing" has not popped the cubes into the box. Thus, it is not making any more ice.

there is usually a metal arm that turns it off. If you have accidently bumped it, you will not get ice.

I had something like this happen once after my electricity was shut off for a late payment...

The ice that was in the process of being made, melted. So, when the electricity had been turned back on and the ice began to freeze again, somehow it clogged up so the machine wouldn't function correctly. DOn't remember the exact details of that.

I manually went and took the mechanism out by unscrewing all the points where it was held in the freezer. Then ran it under hot hot hot tap water to melt the ice, and shook all the water out of it. Finally replaced it back into the freezer and it 's been working fine since then.
