If you have the gold card, refills are free ($.55 savings).
The barista usually forgets you ordered a short so they refill it to the top.
You've paid $.68 per cup for the equivalent of a tall and a half or a grande and a half of coffee.
And if you go to the same Starbucks for nearly 15 years and you're friendly to the baristas and visit one barista's husband when he's in the hospital and very sick and pray for him, that barista might be inclined to pour your coffee and not charge you anything. Hypothetically speaking, of course.

Oh I know, I have no doubt that you don't give a dime to the work of the Lord. You probably never did.

Still haven't figured out why a Christian would even patronise Starbucks...

It must be frustrating to be so holy, so right with God, with so few living at your level of commitment.
We're not worthy...

Howard Schultz said to a stockholder that if he didn't like the company's policy of diversity and the 38% return on his investment into Starbucks stock, he could always sell his shares of stock. That's exactly what he said. Google it.
Folks if you took the time to examine every company you buy products from and what their ownership embraced or what the company policies were---you'd end up living like the Amish. Buying Starbucks coffee doesn't mean you support same sex marriage any more than listening to Elvis sing "How Great Thou Art" means you support lamb chop sideburns and tight white one piece jump suits with sequins.
