I hope he runs in 2020. After 4 miserable years of either Clinton or Trump, hopefully people will come to their senses. Then again, Trumpsters remind me of obamites, who still to this day support him.
He has already set up a couple of PACs to position himself to run. I know things can change, but one thing won't - you can Trust Ted Cruz to keep his word.

And on the "Pledge" thingy. Caleb Howe speaks for me on that subject, mentioning that anyone saying that Ted is not honest about keeping the pledge himself are being dishonest. Trump wouldn't have kept that pledge if he had not had the help of Fox News getting him this nomination.

Cruz Pledged? Please. Only Thing That “Pledge” Deserved Was to be Used to Wipe Someone’s … Wherever

The stupid pledge that Trump fans are on about tonight was meaningless. Why? Because Donald Trump voided it. Donald Trump refused it. Then Donald Trump spit on it by spitting on Ted Cruz's family. On his wife. On his father. Pledge? Really?

How could you respect him if he endorsed because of some pledge that Trump himself in no way took seriously? After all that transpired in the primary? Even Trump didn't care about the dumb pledge.

Re: GOP National Convention

And now today is day FOUR of the Trump Convention. It's your day to love your Orange God. Have fun with that. I won't be watching today.

Ted Cruz to his Delegates: Each of us has an ‘obligation to follow our conscience.'

Signing off for 2016...It was worth the fight!

Thank you, once again, Senator Ted Cruz.

Re: GOP National Convention

Is Cruz backing up after all the negative response to his speech last night or is he defending it? He is addressing the Texas delegates and answering questions.

And thus Pressing On fades away into oblivion in the same arrogant manner of his mentor, Ted Cruz.

PO, I am neither a "Trumpster" or claiming him as an "Orange God." Unfortunately I will be voting for DT kicking and screaming all the way, and ONLY for one reason. Even though there are a few things he says I agree with...immigration, ISIS in particular, the ONLY reason I will vote for Trump is to try and keep Hillary OUT of the White House!!

DT was NOT my first choice...Ben Carson or John Kasich were my choices. Sadly I say to you that I don't feel I have any other choice at this juncture.

RE the pledge, I still believe it was wrong to make them sign it and wrong to not keep it. As I recall that night, I think that question was poised more for DT than anyone, knowing he would not agree to it. They all would have been better off not making a pledge than to make one and break it...that's my opinion for what it's worth.

Yes, I fully understand the ugliness of the campaign and the horrible things DT said. Perhaps if it were me, I would break it, too...I just don't know. It's just a sad day. That one question has caused so much confusion.

One more thing, PO...TC kept saying this morning that he was surprised the NY delegation booed his remarks re voting your conscious... I think he might have misread their reaction. I thought they were booing what he didn't say...they were looking for an endorsement.

I respect your views on this...

And I don't believe PO is arrogant. She is committed. There is a difference.

Thank you Ted Cruz.
Why would it still be a story on day 3? There was never an issue with what she said. The issue was how stupidly the Trump campaign responded and kept it going.

The Huckster is wrong. When Trump met with Cruz to ask him to speak at the convention, he was told Cruz wouldn't endorse him. But Cruz was asked to speak anyway. Also, Trump and the RNC, previewed and offered no objection to the speech before it was given. Media received transcript before the speech and noted Cruz did not change a single word when giving it.

So this whining about Cruz backstabbing Trump, or surprising Trump by not endorsing him is wrong and stupid.

And I see the fence straddler here took the side of Trump again instead of standing up for a man who stood by his principles and conviction and whose speech was about freedom, liberty and honoring the Constitution.

0 has been calling PO "him" for a while. Not sure it's by accident or a show of disrespect.
