Current Car batteries are Lead. Pretty dang toxic in it's own right. Where do they get dumped?

I'm not saying this convoy will do any good, but at least they're trying.

They already are pulling way back on mandates. By the time they get to DC there will be little left for them to protest. Even the large global corporations that have had their workforces working remotely the last 2 years are starting to bring people back into the office, masks mostly at their discretion, etc.

That's exactly my point.

Do these people not think these things through?

The organizers know exactly what they're doing. The participants? Not so much.

The answer isn't getting your story out on social media and making a scene. The answer is taking care of business inside your own home and in your local community. No one I know is going to do me one ounce of good in D.C. No one heading there as part of a convoy will, either.
But I have some good neighbors and friend who probably will. And I them, Lord willing.

Now you're talking sedition, for real.

Romans 13 comes to mind. The out of control government isn't going to get reined in by you or me or a convoy of truckers heading to DC.
Name one protest against the government that's succeeded in making things better for you. The last one I can think of that you might name is the Civil Rights movement of the 60's.
The moment that the Powers That Be decide the US constitution is their rolling paper, only an act of God can stop them. Unless you have "some F-15's and maybe some nuclear weapons".

Suppose you tell your children to clear the table after dinner, and put the dirty dishes in the sink, and your children throw the dirty dishes across the dining room and they crash on the counter near the sink, bits of food going everywhere, glass breaking and shattering into a million pieces.
You going to say "at least they're trying"?
I'm saying not only are they not really trying, this convoy will not do any good, and will likely cause great harm to you and me, and to our freedoms in general, especially if you take the Canadian situation as our best, most recent example. Entire families have been bankrupted. Their government seized all their assets, including their trucks, the main source of their income and livelihood, and they all went home, tail between their legs, beaten.
That is not time well spent, in my opinion. Will some other good come of it, in the long run? Time will tell. But I doubt it.

How is that analogy even remotely similar? Do you actually believe the lies about the Canadian trucker convoy being aggressive and angry? I've seen hours of video from various streamers, not one thing about those reports rings true from what I've watched with my own two eyes.
If anything, just like with the TEA party protests years back, the protestors there were actually cleaning the streets.

I don't believe anything about the Canadian convoy, one way or the other.
As far as the analogy goes, the point is, just because someone is "at least trying" (your words) doesn't mean they are going about it the best way, the right way, the way that will succeed, or etc., on top of making things worse, making a mess for all involved, and etc.
