Even PM. I try to be the same at all times.

Anyone who wants to know my real name and where I go to church and who my pastor is need simply ask me. I have no problem associating my "real" self with what I say online.

I would have responded earlier, but all the hari-cari posting distracted me.

I'm not feeling your pain here......

Many of us laity "have" been in the ministry.
I see us as all being equal here. In fact, I wouldn't know most posters are even pastors except they have it in their sig line, in their username, or underneath it, as KwaiQ does.

And the same for me. Unless I mention I'm a pastor or preacher, who would really know?

If I was a pastor or preacher and didn't want to mingle with the commoners, I'd join a preacher only forum so I couldn't be tainted......LOL!

Its just everyone wants preachers to be "real" and sometimes that is not possible. TD Jakes said something that I'll never forget. He said "there are people dying to get to know you, and the minute you let them close enough to - they will hate you".

What people say they want from ministry and what they really want are two different things.
I sooooo totally agree with that statement!

Disclaimer:

My post above mentions being 'tainted' but has no reflection on anything PP says in this thread nor anywhere on this forum. I just now read this, and thought I should explain myself further. I was merely answering Renda's post as she wrote it without reading into it.
