I made leftover beef/vegetable soup in the crock pot from a roast I cooked earlier this week. It was some good soup!!! My daughter is here from Nashville so we are watching Law and Order. We have been working a huge puzzle all evening, watching the TV tornado warnings off and on. Eddie went back to the doctor tonight; his bronchitis is no better. Zac is in Savannah, TN and can't come back because of the storms, so he'll be back in the morning for church.

Cooked a great deer backstrap, fried okra, rice & gravy, corn-on-the-cob, bisquits.

Invited my parents over.

Ate and played a great game of Rook - now getting ready for tomorrow.

Think I'll preach on eating healthy!

Who is "her"? Your mom?

Glad I didn't wander over to your house tonight... Your pizza doesn't sound so great -- I enjoy the "meat-lovers" variety.

For dinner, hubby made me a sausage/cheese omelette. It was pretty good!

Barb, I think your pizza sounds delicious.

I spent the afternoon shopping and visiting with a friend. We went to Hobby Lobby, then stopped at Starbucks to use the gift card from Vicki, then to Bath and Body Works, then to the Dollar Tree, and finally ended up at DonPablo's for supper. It was a good afternoon.

Please pray for my friend. She has spent the last 20 years as a missionary in Thailand with her husband (she's from the Philippines). Now he's decided that he wanted to bring the family back to the US (he's American) and take a job as a truck driver. In the meantime, she finds out that he's been seeing someone on the side in Thailand. And now he's making trips back there "on business". And he's asking her for a divorce. But because she doesn't believe that divorce is ok, she's not willing to give it to him. Things are tough right now. Pray that God brings her husband into a right relationship with Himself. Pray that God will restore this marriage. Thanks. I know I can depend on all of you
