But, hey if you only want to wear dresses no matter what activity you are engaged in, it doesn't not bother me on iota, nor do I believe the Lord gives any attention to what you wear, as long as your apparel is modest.
Slow down my good man! I was not knocking other woman wanting to wear pants. You will see that I posted it is not my preference. I have never liked wearing them. They do not feel comfortable to me. They never have.

So, should you possibly need to get over being shallow that I have to dress how you approve? Why do I need to change if I don't want to?

Why do I have to view it your way or be called shallow? Is that fair? I didn't call you shallow.

My daughter has some very cute Capris she sells in her shop. Rayon, which is my favorite fabric. I wouldn't buy them, but they are very pretty.

Answer it seriously and honestly, CC1!!! I want to know!!!

I think dresses / skirts are sexier. As far as which I prefer on a woman it depends on the dress / skirt / blouse / pants / pantsuit and the occasion.

I think my wife looks just as good and classy with a nice dress on at church as she does with a dressy pantsuit on. Typically she wears dresses to church all of the year except winter and then she wears some nice pantsuits.

A lot of old time Pentecostals would have a duck at Christ Church as women on the platform many times have on slacks / pantsuits.

Thanks, CC1,
The point I was trying to make is that men like women in dresses, generally.

It has nothing to do with standards at all. It was just a general question I wanted to ask.

I remember someone in my past and this was before I was in church, as heathen as we could get (lol), told me that I looked my best in a dress. It was Christmas and I was wearing a Fushia silk dress. It was a moment.

I never did forget that. I think of it when these issues come up. I wonder what he is doing today? Oh sorry, my mind was wondering.

I also saw that I was more successful in sales when I was wearing a dress. The men treated me with more respect and were more attentive. For whatever their purpose, I saw what they liked the most.

Sorry, did not mean to imply that my opinion was the correct one, and you even know how to spell Capri's. :killing I respect your right to wear whatever you are comfortable with, modest is the guideline. I was relating "shallow" those who feel compelled to identify and dictate what type of clothing God prefers for ladies to wear.

Thank you for the apology. I accept it!

I don't have answers for other people. I just have to do what I am doing.

God bless!

Pressing On,

this sounds like Free might be borderline.... you know...

As for me I think that a woman is MUCH more attractive in the femininity of a beautiful skirt or dress.!

As I have mentioned before, Jim Yohe and I have had several "deep" conversations while sharing a cold drink in my living room. He in one recliner and I in the other.

During one of those seasons of revelatory discovery, Dear Bro. Yohe dropped a bombshell on me. He said that although he would never preach it, he felt he could prove, or at least provide a compelling argument, that Holy Scripture supports the practice of polygamy for the average man and the only prohibition against it was for those in ministry or leadership.

He followed that pearl of wisdom up with his assertion that all preachers, Apostolic or otherwise, should be required to wear a collar so they couldn't blend in with the other heathens when they do things unholy in a far away place.

Jim was quite a guy and I sure miss him!
