God is both the Lord and the Creator of the earth and all things in it. He therefore is the God to all people, regardless whether they bow to Him or not. The church’s judgment is not for those who are evil. The Bible says that judgment begins at the house of God (See
1 Peter 4:17). We are not called to judge people outside the sanctified perimeter of Jesus’ body. Look how Paul said it:
1 Corinthians 5:9-13
(9) I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
(10) Yet not altogether the fornicators
of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters;
for then must ye needs go out of the world.
(11) But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is
called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such a one no not to eat.
(12)
For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not
ye judge them that are within?
(13) But
them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
Paul is clear here. The Church takes care of its own self; God will take care of those outside. In this case, we are to be the faithful husbandman for the crop to which God calls us. God then will take care of the weeds which grow around us.
