Would you turn in a pastor in your fellowship who was not paying proper US income taxes and had no intentions of doing so? Are you doing anything currently to crack down on this, or is that up to the IRS to enforce?

No, because there is no way I would know if he was paying or not.

J-Roc, why do you advocate open borders to any illegal who wants to pillage our system? We have a system, they should follow it. What is your purpose in defending lawbreakers who want to sponge off of a nation we have worked and fought to build?

Illegal immigrants, who have no desire for U.S. citizenship, should be prosecuted and/or deported. That is a blanket statement I make to cover all ethnic backgrounds.

I think you and would agree that a vast majority do have that desire...so that leaves a small group to prosecute and deport.

They are U.S. citizens. There are laws and systems in place that will nab them. Illegal immigrants fly under the radar, therefore there is a need for citizenry to help law enforcement out.

J-Roc, I noticed you didn't answer my question. Why do you advocate open borders, and no punishment of illegal immigrants? I can't imagine how that could be benficial to our country, and our children, at all.

I have no problems with anyone dying to enter this GREAT country to work and make a living and provide well for his family provided he is paying his fair share of taxes. If I were not born in the US, and lived in some of the conditions that I see in third world countries....I PROMISE you I'd be the first one making my way to this country to work hard for my family and pay taxes and do what I can to become a citizen. Fine me if necessary....I'll pay up.

No, I do not agree with that statement at all. I see them lined up at 7-11 all the time, waiting to send money home to their families. It is too easy for them to abuse our system. Besides, why would they want citizenship when you and others advocate they have equal rights with all Americans without it?
