I'm honestly asking, not trying to cause trouble. I just think people need to be held accountable instead of looking to admin to erase their mistakes.

I agree. It should be only in the extreme and unusual circumstance that someone is allowed to delete, and then only after consultation within that group of players.
Admins of course can delete whatever they want to protect their interests and the interests of AFF.
It's kind of like in a court of law. You can't "unring the bell." When someone says something irresponsible or inadmissible in front of the jury then it's too late to do anything. When someone posts irresponsibly and then can cover their tracks they have an unfair advantage in the battle of ideas. They "ring the bell" and get something irresponsible out into a broad audience, and then if they are allowed to delete and hide - they are never held accountable.
I think AFF is a great board with an incredible mix of beliefs and styles. With the 120 minute (or whatever it is) edit feature it's even better. But once you've had time to mull over your thoughts and decide to let the post stand for Google to index and the world to see - you need to be accountable.
