Bro., you just might be in to sqeeze in under the gate...grab onto someone's shoelaces when the rapture happens.
Lol, just "Build me a cabin in the corner of Gloryland".

Water Baptism......Pagan Origin (John the Baptist wasn't the 1st baptizer!)
Baby Dedications.....Pagan Origins
Marriage Ceremonies..... again, Paganism
Funeral services (Blessing the Dead)
The point is... there are a great number of things we do, and promote that, if we really looked into their origins, we'd find Paganism written all over it. Those little figurines around your house... PAGAN images.
Easter....Christmas.... and just about every religious holiday you can name...
PAGAN
But God "searches and trys the reigns (intents) of the heart". The REASON we celebrate Easter and have church steeples is far removed from their origins. It would seem to me that when we "Christianize" worldly or pagan practices, we are triumphing over the pagan practices for which they were used in the past. Like taking a country music song and putting Christain lyrics to it. In other words...this whole discussion about PAGANISM is "much ado about nothing!"

Waiting for the Lord is easy... Waiting patiently? Not so much.

The names of the day of the week (Sun thru Sat)- Pagan origins
Months of the Year- Also Pagan
Worshipping on the Sabbath (Saturday or Sunday). Some pagans worshipped their gods on the last day of the week, others on the 1st day. The Bible doesn't teach us to WORSHIP on the Sabbath, but to REST.
Someone asked "Where do we draw the line?. I don't know but somewhere out there is a line called COMMON SENSE!

Oh there you go, stop confusing us with the facts!
