Samantha can NOT miss work no matter what, because being hired as temporary right now, she would be fired. She can't miss a day until after April 9th. I have an appointment with the nurse practioner today at 2:30 for Samantha... please pray that this is not the flu-- because they will order her to be off work.
Indeed. We will remember this prayer request, beliving for strength and deliverance.

Yes. Her first 90 days she is considered a temporary employee. They aren't allowed to have an absence in the first 90 days. Then she will be on "trial" pretty much for another 90 days, and during that time she is allowed only two absences.

She just got out of the clinic. They said she doesn't have the flu--(Thank you Jesus!!!) so she went and picked up her meds at the pharmacy, took a dose and went to work. This child hardly ever complains about being sick, so when she mentions that she wants a doctors appointment she really feels bad and I know she's miserable.

I'm freezing-- my temp is 102, and I'm going back to bed. I just wanted to post to let those praying know that Samantha didn't have the flu.... and to say Thanks for praying!

Re: Please pray for my family today...

Sis. Tina,

There has been something going around here in our part of Texas that has
flu-like symptons, and usually last 3 or 4 days, but some have had strep throat
with it and it lasts longer. Some of our grandchildren have had it. Quite a few
people at church have had it. My husband and I so far have avoided it. Thank
you, Jesus.

I pray that whatever this infirmity is, that it will immediately cease and desist,
in Jesus Name!

Blessings,

Falla39
