Well, I'm cleaning house right now, and doing laundry so we can be ready to go tomorrow night after church to visit with Steadfast and his family this week. woooohooooo

(Not too sure they will be that thrilled, but me and mine are. My boys, especially, well, on second thought, the Skinner is pretty excited also!!)

They will probably be ready for us to leave long before we do.

Anyway, we are looking forward to it.

First, we have to take our missionary out to dinner, tonight, so we are taking him to the Hickory Tree in Smolan, KS. Excellent food.

So pray for us (and the Steadfast family, they will really need it!)

I love when you call him, "the Skinner..." For some reason it just sounds so cute...he'll kill me for that, I'm sure...

Ohhh...I am such a good daughter!!

Y'all know what today is, right?! Well, my SIL called and asked my mom if she wanted some corned beef and you know what...yikes!!

It's not that it's that far from my house...it's only about 10 minutes away, so it's not like I had to get a passport to travel there. It's just that that stuff reeked my car!!

I know I'm gonna have a special star in my crown in glory just for this...!!

We just got home from a night at the Peabody in Memphis. It was so wonderful, and FREE. That's the best part. We ate at the Cappricio Grille there and had great food. It was a really nice room, very large. All that time we lived in Memphis, we never went there to spend the night. Of course we could never afford it then (1980-1984). We were extremely poor, but happy!
