i would have to say that rejecting all the traditions in the name of personal freedom has not always worked out for the weaker gender, lol, but then again a woman can find a real man if she wants one, just depends on if she is willing to let him be that, dt

Jim,
I think this is primarily women in the world. I can't see Christian ladies saying such a thing. If a man wants to impress me - he opens the door, addresses me respectfully, and never puts me in a compromising situation.

Perhaps it is less common in holiness circles. But I see most of the societal mores reflected in the church at large.
