TOUGH!

You thought I was gonna say crazy, didn't ya? What about those guys that drive big rigs up a frozen river and across the frozen ocean? TOUGH is the word for it. Does it really get dark and stay dark up there for 2 or 3 months?
I think they are in the 20+ hours of sunshine right now. I think it is dark a lot in the winter.

I can tell what day of the week it is by the "action" on AFF. I can almost pinpoint the approximate time.

Its about 7:00 Central time on a Friday night. People have come home, got their late afternoon AFF fix and are now headed out the door for the Buffet at the Sizzler.

Sunday morning... it is as dead as yesterdays newspaper around here. People are either sleeping late or gone to church. Little action until about 4:00 on Sundays (after the big Sunday dinner at Grandmas... or the Sizzler.)

Sunday night... a little better. (Which tells me SOMEBODY, besides me ain't goin to church). It heats up after 9:00, though (after church and yet another stop at the Sizzler!) Thats when people come on (for their Sunday night fix) to tell us all the good (and sometimes the bad) that happened at church that night.

Like I said...I may be spending too much time here.

You're doing fine OA. you're retired and you're intitled to
have a hobby and since your wife passed recently,it's good
for you.

Thank ya, St Mark, though I am far from retired. I'll have to work til I'm 150 years old to retire. No... I was crawling under a house today (installing HVAC), thinking, "Gee, I hope I hurry up and turn 150 so I can retire".

What is a Halibut Pizza? I may be afraid of the answer!

I don't have the recipe but a little restaurant here does them. They have swiss cheese, a secret sauce ( ha ha ) like cream cheese with tartar, Really delicious if you like fish. Regular pizza gives me bad indigestion. We plurged after I posted earlier and went and ordered one. Have some leftovers to snack on tomorrow maybe if Cindy's brother doesn't eat it all.

I'm not sure how tough I am. My oh mee's ache a lot now when the weather changes whether I'm outside or inside where it's warm.
We have all 4 seasons here in southeast Alaska thiugh as Cindy posted below it is more daylight during this time of the year.It is almost 1:00 am now and just got dark. It will start getting daylight around 2:am.
Rains a lot in the SE so we really love it when the SUN is out.Today the temp was in the upper 60's which is HOT for us.
