I don't jknow alot about Bi-polar disorder, but, if I am not mistaken, it can be treated and/or controlled by medication. If that is true, then, its clear to me that the dis-order is most likely a physical disorder rather than a spiritual problem.

A person who is filled with the Holy Ghost who has a physical or mental impairment is one who hasn't been healed. This isn't to say they are at fault, or are under some demonic oppession.

Re: Your Opinion On Mental Illness.Spiritual?Chemi

I don't mean this to be critical, but, sometimes, I think some preachers cause a good deal of harm by trying to assess blame for a person not being healed. They preach healing, state emphatically that God heals through their ministry... then, when someone isn't healed, it is because THEY didn't have faith... or had sin in their lives or are under demonic oppression. This causes some to waver in faith, and causes them to live under a cloud of guilt. I do believe God heals, have seen people healed instantly... but have also seen many who were prayed for many times, and were never healed. Why is this...I don't know. Thankfully, we live in an age when medicines and treatments are available for those with physical problems.

Healing is a work of God. He manifests healing when He chooses to... We can't force Him to do so and, as hard as it may be, we shouldn't question when He doesn't.We should rejioce in the fact that He has granted us all the greatest of miracles... the Miracle of Salvation!
