Coca Cola Coming Out With Islamic Coke Can

Coca Cola is indtroducing a Coke can with special artwork celebrating Islam. It has the crescent moon and some other symbols on it and will be distrubted in areas of the world predominently Muslim.

Keep in mind this is the same company that for Christmas and Hannakkuh refused to use any type of Christian or Jewish symbols. They use polar bears, snow, etc as Christmas symbols here.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

ive got to find some way to justify drinking coke.

Americans will now be able to get back some of that oil money we have been shipping off to the middle east?

Forget the COKE CODES, guys. If this is the case, I may stop drinking Diet Cokes. What would happen if they put a cross on the can??

It just seems like such a double standard that they want to cater to one religon and not another.

Kind of like publications or places that will allow Christianity to be defamed in cartoons, so called "art" but will not do the same to Islam out of fear of retribtution.

Re: Coca Cola Coming Out With Islamic Coke Can

I've read this thread twice now and I am still trying to figure out why this is significant. Coke has different stuff on there cans depending on what part of the world they are marketing their products.
