I think they will act like it's not a big deal, but enough people complain and the hassle alone will make them take notice.

Likewise.

Re: Is This Blasphemy?
Considering the fact that a couple of young men were eaten by bears because they made fun of the prophet's bald head, I'd think He doesn't appreciate such "humor."
By the way, Aquila, it doesn't take a high IQ to "get" the cartoon. I doubt the joke was lost on anyone. But some humor isn't worth laughing at or even "appreciating" if it is at the expense of decorum and morality.

I was looking at the political cartoon in the paper. The one you were looking at was one of many on line. Political cartoonists have great leeway to comment, using satire, hyperbole and many other tools to poke fun at politicians.Oliphant is well-known for his biting satire.

In other words they don't really care that you don't like it.

Re: Is This Blasphemy?
Can you "blasphemy" if you don't know God? I would call it ignorance.

Re: Is This Blasphemy?
I do not think it is blasphemy, but I do think it is in very poor taste and done in ignorance. It just shows how far we in America have sunk and that the things of God are not feared and reverenced.

WRONG! That would be the Washington Times, a much more conservative paper which would never have published this trash. (Moon is still definitely a loon, though.)
