Re: Is This Blasphemy - Washington Post?

Based on the definition given by Webster's dictionary, I'd say yes, it is.

blas·phe·my
Pronunciation: \ˈblas-fə-mē\
Function:noun
Inflected Form(s):plural blas·phe·miesDate:13th century

1 a: the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence for God
b: the act of claiming the attributes of deity
2: irreverence toward something considered sacred or inviolable

Then yes it does meet the definition of blasphemy.

Good thing we are not God or most of the world would be sent into hell alive immediately upon upsetting us. God on the other hand will allow each and everyone a space for repentance. If they do not find it, there will be hell to pay.

He is merciful but He also is a consuming fire. I plan to always be HIS friend.

You'll never see it.

They're careful about offending Muslims... but they don't care about offending Christians.

Christians turn the other cheek
Muslims kill you.

Re: Is This Blasphemy - Washington Post?

These are recorded responses to speaking with tongues from quite a few years ago:

they were confounded
they were all amazed and marveled
they were amazed and in were in doubt
others mocking said, These men are full of new wine

Re: Is This Blasphemy - Washington Post?

I sent that cartoon out as an email attachment to some folks earlier today.
I only got one reply. It was from a woman who is a prayer warrior and who is very much in tune with the Holy Spirit. All she said was:
"God Chooses the foolish things to confound they wise (or those who think they are wise)....praise God !!"
