Passive is what I'm tired of................it's time to make a stand and let our voices be heard.

Sorry, PO, no hot seat here.
I'm amazed that we'll nearly destroy each other over "steps", but when it comes to this issue, we're attacking Bro. Jones over the wording of his letter and arguing whether a protest is even necessary.
Unbelievable to me.

I did read your response to PoMo and I don't think we are picking apart a letter. We gave an overall view of the letter.
It just isn't a letter I would have written. That's all I'm saying, Michael.

How is it that the last few posts are "attacks", but his letter is not? (an attack)
No one is being unreasonable here. I think if Bro. Bernard had written the letter, it would have sounded a LOT different.

I'm just playing with you on the hot seat, Michael. Take a chill pill.
I don't have to agree with the tone of this letter if I don't want to.
He's a great guy and frankly, I was surprised he worded his letter in that manner.

I'm not condemning making a stand. But political activism, even in defense of religious rights, should never be confused with Christianity.

Amen! I had no intention of writing them. I can boycott them like I do Oprah. I have never purchased one of her magazines and felt that way before she ever refused to interview Palin.

Maybe we need to consider that Bro. Bernard and others might have written a letter also. Each person's letter reflects their personality - you have heard JJ preach, right?

I've only heard him preach once, a long time ago? Why?
