What portion of the plane will you be on if you see one?
Hopefully not the wing. As he attempts to warn those around him of what he see's scurrying about the wing of the craft as the rain pounds against the window. ....but no one will believe him!
What is the difference between one celebration has nothing to do with pagan origins and another? Who cares if it has nothing to do with pagan origins.
BTW how is going to a single building, having candy and games with prizes and fellowship a celebration of something? What exactly are they celebrating? If I get together with some brothers at church and we play a game of chess, are we celebrating something?
My point is, little kids who dress as ninjas and drag their parents door to door looking for some goodies are not into the pagan traditions any more than you and your church and their "trick or treat light". The only commonality is the time period, which is also shared by churches who chose to have alternatives to Halloween, so THEY ARE THE SAME THING.
Well, actual trick or treating is way more fun, but they are basically the same thing.
Anyhoo, you don't have to agree with me. It's just my opinion, and I am fine with you having one that is totally different. Like I said, for me, it was all or nothing.
Hopefully not the wing. As he attempts to warn those around him of what he see's scurrying about the wing of the craft as the rain pounds against the window. ....but no one will believe him!
I hate when that happens!

Bad news. Had to cancel my trip. So, new plans for Halloween: costume party at the Mexican restaurant, where I work on Friday nights. I'll be a pirate ("Arrrr, ye want a margarita, ye say? What be a margarita? Aaarrrr!"), and my born-again, Spirit-filled, AofG wife will be a tavern wench.
