Quite often published pop health advice is only describing an ideal or optimized situation, and is out of context from real life risks/benefits. For example, the health benefits of walking WHENEVER you can--far outweigh the "warning" to not walk after you eat. Eating and walking didn't seem to hinder the Roman army from conquering their world, even if digestion was not optimized.
