Yes, I've heard Texas is the land of promise. They promise lower taxes, but then raise them. They promise wide open spaces, then put a trailer park next door. They promise beautiful scenery, but then open a scrapeyard.

I was feeding a horse, across the fence, at the family cemetery yesterday. I wish I would have remembered to bring my camera. That was one nice picture of Texas!!!
