Yep!! One time we didn't have enough ornaments for the tree in our banquet hall at church. I took down my tree and brought it all over for the one night, took it home, and put it back up the next day. LOL!

for the last several events I've done the cooking and the decorating so by the end, I'm dead on my feet. This is the first event that I'm doing ALL the cooking instead of having some things contributed - everyone just paid this time.

I have to come up with really good decorating ideas b/c I have to outdo what I did the last two years, it's expected LOL

but simple elegance, simple, traditional is what I"m going for this year - using typical christmas decor in a different way - or at least on a larger scale.

My vast village collection are the table centerpieces - I just have to coordinate the windows and mantle - and head table.

last year I took down my lighted reindeer from my yard for one corner of the fellowship hall LOL

they got adopted to use in the kids play and I didnt get them back for a while - in fact they never did come home, they are in the storage room at church. I'm using them this weekend - if I can find a small bench to decorate like one picture I saw on here- I'll get it - I want to put it on one corner to hide the mammouth A/C LOL

It just sounds like to much fun, Theresa.

Well, my daughter just called and they are out of my Creme Brulee candles in the store. I better get on that, so I can get them to her tomorrow.

Have a good one. Take pictures later!!!
