There is a lady in the Apostolic church I used to go to who seriously believes that your salvation hinges on your hair. She harps on hair ALL THE TIME!! And she was sooooooo proud because her hair had grown long enough that she could sit on it. She wold tell me every time I saw her about how I should know better than to have cut off all my hair like this. blah blah blah

So, don't think I'm making fun. I'm not. But she got very sick about a year ago. And guess what! Her hair fell out. EVERY BIT OF IT. No, she didn't have chemo or radiation or anything like that. I think she could have accepted it if it happened because of that. But it wasn't. This was really, really difficult for her.

I saw her the other day. Her hair is growing back. And she got her first perm in over 40 years. And here's the shocker to me - she says to the neighbor, "No, they didn't have to cut off alot to even it up. They did cut some, but that's ok"

I almost fell off of my chair!! She would have crucified me if I had said that!!
