So what inspired this thread? If it is in response to my comments questioning the modesty of certain pictures posted at AFF it is missing my point. Of course bare shoulders themselves are certainly questionable pertaining to modesty but I commented specifically concerning the immodesty of showing part of a womans breasts. Not shoulders but breasts. Is showing part of a womans breasts now considered modesty by todays Christians?
My oppostion to it has nothing to do with so called "outward standards". Its a modesty issue. Plain and simple. I have always opposed the unscriptural no hair trim, no beard buisness.
Many in the "Apostolic" movement seem to go to total extremes. On one hand many are still holding to women wearing their hair up in buns and preaching the uncleaness of wearing a beard. Now on the other hand I have seen with my own eyes person after person praising pictures which literally expose part of a womans breast and saying they are truly amazing pictures.
Where is the real truth, the balance? What IS immodest if the showing of part of the female breasts in public is not?
What would one have to do to be considered immodest?

Odd. Of course I dont know alot about how to do things on the forum but now the pictures are gone. There were several but the specific one was I believe in post no. 2 the last picture in the post.

I'm not on Mike's side concerning the things he said about DA's wife as the posts of mine that were deleted by admin stated, but you are incorrect Renda, there was a profile shot that showed cleavage, trust me on this. I can understand both sides of a modesty arguement, my issue with Mike's posts were posting on that particular thread. She did look lovely, but I can understand a conservative's opinion.
