I didn't say that the SAME content delivered differently is different. Wake up!

I said that people don't sit a 5 year old in front of an Internet connection because UNLIKE TV, the internet requires someone constantly directing and requesting the content be presented. When I start my internet connection, I am never surprised by "what's on" at the time - it goes to the same home page every time. Not so with TV.

You apparently don't understand 5 yr olds. Many of them know more about a computer than you and I put together. I know a 3 yr old who surfs the internet as if he was born with that knowledge.

As for your last statement, I'm never surprised by what's on my TV when I turn it on either. I don't watch channels where filth is broadcast.

My point is not to support TV, but to challenge this inconsistent stream of thought that preaches hellfire and damnation against TV while turning a total deaf ear toward the Internet.

If one is wrong, they're both wrong.

And if moderation with one allows you to use it for good and not evil, same goes for the other.

Could be reffering to commercials. But off color advertisements are usually later at night and on certain channels. Spike TV for men for instance.

But I have found that the spirit quickens my thumb and forefinger on my right hand to use a nifty little thing called the channel key on my remote control.
