It is human to think that her suffering days should be over but only God knows her purpose for staying here. Who know what things God is working for good. I understand your thinking, though. It must be so hard for her family to watch this. She is so broken and in pain.
I empathize with them. I see this situation often and it's difficult to watch even though I'm not emotionally attached.
