These days? There have only been 2 presidents impeached in our history, one in the 19th century (Andrew Johnson) and most recently Bill Clinton. Neither were removed from office.

Obama, while a complete and dithering idiot, has yet to do anything worthy of impeachment.

Well we all know how he pushed the stimulus package with ONE hour to read over a 1,000 pages! The White House has gone totally nuts!

And he will but...it will be covered by corrupt media and government officials.

If Obama appreciates "the job" President Bush did, that would put him in the vast minority(say 20% or 25%) of the American public. Puuhhlease!

He's stumbled some early like every President has, but he's also accomplished some very good things like setting a date to get out of Iraq, signing legislation to insure 4 million impoverished kids that Bush wouldn't, extending payroll tax breaks to the middle class starting in April and making the right decision to close Gitmo.

He's doing fine and, as of now, I think he'll turn out to be an average to good President.

Re: Impeach Obama....

I'm not an Obama fan by about ten million miles, but I get tired of the "IMPEACH" battle cry. I got sick of it with Pres. Bush, and I don't like it with this one. (Or that one, as McCain called him )

Just let the process work. If Obama does a bad enough job, he won't get voted back in. If enough people like what he's doing, he will. And I'll be bummed.

Right now, I'm just stunned at how completely nuts the entire government has gone. It feels like we have a group of kindergartners up there running the place.

I truly had hoped that he would do a decent job, even though I don't agree with much of anything he stands for. So far my hopes haven't been realized.

we need 20 million more smokers.

This is really just a transfer of money. The poorest tobacco users will pay more tax as will the rest. The transfer of money from smokers to states to cover this is a farce.
Please don't call the middle class impoverished. Remember most of them can pay a good percent of the health services for their kids without insurance coverage.

Feb. 4, 2009 -- President Barack Obama has signed a bill that adds an estimated 4 million children to government-sponsored health insurance coverage.

The bill adds nearly $33 billion to the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP). In all it would insure 11 million children in lower-income families.

The bill gained final passage in the House Wednesday by a vote of 290-135. Democrats praised the move as a first step toward a broad overhaul of the U.S. health care system.

"It's about time that the most civilized country in the world gave health care coverage to all of its children," said Rep. Diana DeGette, D-Colo., one of the chief sponsors of the bill.

Forty Republicans voted to back the measure, which includes expanded dental coverage for children. But many others complained that the bill needlessly pays for coverage for children from families that can afford private policies.
"Do we want to freeze out the private sector for health insurance?" says Rep. Joe Barton, R-Texas, the senior Republican on the committee with jurisdiction over the SCHIP program.

Of course Obama is leaving Iraq because he admits the Surge he OPPOSED was extremely successful.

Quote:
The new law pays for the expanded coverage by raising federal tobacco taxes 61 cents per pack. That brings the total federal tax to $1.01 per pack. All 50 states have their own tobacco taxes, averaging $1.19 per pack, but ranging from $0.07 in South Carolina to $2.75 per pack in New York, according to the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids.
So filthy smoking is the real deal. Wonder if Pentecostals should endorse smoking to get the middle class health insurance. What about that Obama paying for abortions? should he tax prostitution?

Every time we see something that he does that looks good, digging just a little and we always see a problem.

He wanted to tax the bejeebers out of high paid people to fund the killer sized budget. Now he wants to chop their incomes. after the stock Market chopped their portfolios by about 16 trillion dollars by crashing.

Irrational Obama is still serving koolaid for folks to drink.

Is not having the integratiy to keep ones word, "stumbling some"?

And of course it's always good to let your enemy know when you are going to leave the fight.

Not only are they closing Gitmo, but they are going to let some of those gents come live here in America. I'm sure you'd like them for neighbors wouldn't you Mike?
