Re: Ark Of The Covenant to be Unveiled?
That's irrelevant. The point is some prophetic teachers believe there is in the bible a third temple

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

According to a UPC position paper on preterism, chapters 4 and up of the Book of Revelation are still future. Chapter 11 of Revelation speaks of a temple. 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 verse 4 speaks of a person, whom many consider to be the antichrist, sitting in the temple proclaiming himself to be God. Some futurists take these verses to mean that there will be a temple rebuilt by the Jews in the future. This just happens to be the belief of some Apostolics on this forum. They take that "temple" to be literal.

Too easy. everyone knows it is found right over there in the book of...umm...ahh...umm, wait a minute, it will come to me soon. Oh wait, here it is over here in...oh, maybe not that one. Let me see, it's got to be here somewhere. I know it must be in the Bible somewhere because Bro. so-and-so preaches about it soooo convincinly and with such great passion.
Don't go anywhere, I am going to keep looking.
(maybe it was found in "another book")
If not, don't confuse me with biblcal facts as I KNOW what I believe. LOL

I understand, but I don't believe there is a chance that it is the real thing.

Now that makes more sense. Amen. Although I do not believe the true ark in Heaven is a physical gold box. The ark is actually a symbol of God's throne. Isaiah saw the seraphims over atop the throne of God, just like cherubims cover the ark of the Covenant on earth. When John saw Heaven in Revelation 4, the same order of the throne, the seats, the 7 lamps and the sea with four beasts is the exact same order as when Moses was told to make the ark, the table of shewbread, the 7 branched candlestick and the veil with cherubims. The ark corresponds to the throne of God.
