You seem to be a little hostile towards my points. To say that I am on an island has nothing to do with what I am saying. I am not saying anything against worship but I am asking if anyone notices a trend.
GP, you would probably be very surprised if you met me or came to any service where I was leading worship. My church rocks out pretty good but we aren't very old time pentecostal. Sure, I don't believe in a lot of all that stuff but you will never hear me put down on a person for their worship.

My post wasn't directly to you.
I think we should have liberty in our preferences for worship culture. Instead, there's a group calling it unbiblical (gasp) and "out of order." That's ignorant, IMO. My criticisms of the church aren't in the theology of worship. Could worship leaders do a better job? Another thread topic.
Power does not equal exhburant worship, but worship does please God and bring His power. But our exhuberance is not FOR power, it's a celebration of God! Not all see it the same way, and that's fine. But to criticize Pentecostal worship for being "too wild"... there's plenty of alternatives out there that are non-Pentecostal, and unfortunately many that still call themselves Pentecostals, to choose from.
