Randy...a snake can't get a woman pregnant--even inside a lab. Even if the cells divide for a little bit, (I'd like to see data on that if you have a source) implantation would never occur, meaning pregnancy would never occur. Fertilization and pregnancy aren't interchangeable terms.

I thought he was talking about the "one-eyed" snake that's outside of the lab. Kinda like Troy.

So you DON'T believe in the doctrine of "A person is a person at the moment of conception".

LOL

And no, I do not believe this was ever done with a snake, although there are reports throughout the world where it was attempted with various primates (if you believe humanist channels like TLC and Discovery).

I believe life is created at the moment of conception. That isn't the same thing as producing a pregnancy.

*Attempted* would probably be a key word here....

The cell (egg) is actually 'alive' before conception in a manner of speaking. The sperm even more so if that makes sense. But then again, it doesn't require a sperm to make a viable offspring -just the nucleus of another cell. Think "Dolly the Sheep".

There are all sorts of proposed "Chimera" projects in the planning stages of which nearly all rules of ethics keep from happening (but ARE if all the leaks are to be believed).
