As a child my personal favorite was "Stairway to Heaven" (no not the rock one)because I could just picture this giant set of stairs going thousands of feet up in the air from earth to heaven.

"Hold The Fort."

"I Shall Not Be Moved."

We had a songbook (Never, EVER use the word "hymnal") for a while with a song titled, "Where Is My Boy Tonight?"

Re: A Little Saturday Evening Praise Break!

One of my greatest disappointments in life was when I moved to Stockton, CA, and found out that at CLC, the renowned church of the UPC, they passed out songbooks and clapped on beat. Heartbreaking.

WOW - that must have been MANY years ago!

CLC hasn't used songbooks in well over 35 years - and as far as clapping on-beat.... don't remember that either!
