Oh I am totally with you on the dunamis - exousia meanings and how they differ.
But the dunamis version is so much more exciting, even if it's not the correct meaning.
It is really hard when something is engrained in you and you think it is a spiritual revelation. It's becomes an emotional attachment, like a soul tie. Very hard to break and people get very upset if you challenge it.
simple question .... doesn't prayer bring about miracles? What about prophecy etc... Is that not a miraculous work of God in your life? THough the text is clearly linked to authority in it's context and not "dunamis" in the sense of miracles. The text though is linked to authority and standing before God for his power to move upon petition and through revelation by prophecy. Quite a bit different than they teach but it does still have a reality in those areas.
That's what I've never understood! Also, how can it be a covering when it's wadded up on top? The only way for hair to be a covering is if it's down. Mine is more of a covering than women who wear their long hair up.
Yes, if it's a natural veil instead and she is to be covered when praying, then in church the hair should always be down

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Whaaaat, and tempt men to lust after her hair?
as a matter of fact, women need to wear dark, dark, sunglasses too, for us dogs that fall for pretty eyes.
