Re: MAJOR UPDATE on Priscilla McGruder
In 1926, my paternal grandmother was dying of typhoid fever. The doctor pointed to
her feet and legs, telling my grandfather, "Tom, Lizzie's dying! See the blue on her feet
and legs. She breathed a simple prayer as a sincere praying, Bible-reading Methodist,
"Lord If YOU would see fit, let me live to raise my three children". My dad was 8, brother
5, and little sister, 2 1/2 yrs. old. She lapsed into a coma to awake the next evening. Her
fever had broke, she was hungry and thirsty. She outlived the doctor who said she was
dying by over 50 yrs. She lived 58 more yrs after his said she was dying. I heard her say
many times she could feel the cold hand of death creeping up her legs.
I am so thankful to have heard this story over and over throughout my 70 yrs. I did not
witness this firsthand but it was passed on to me by my grandmother who lived to see
our first grandbaby born.It was her first Great-grandchild. That grandchild just gave us
our first Great-grandbaby, 26 yrs later.
This testimony was passed on to me also by my father, and I make sure that it is passed
on to our children, grandchildren and our first little great-grandchild when she is old enough
to hear and understand. This testimony, among other testimonies through the years, has
caused me to trust in a GOD who is able to do exceeding miracleous things!
God told the children of Israel to tell their children and their children's children about this ONE
TRUE AND LIVING GOD!
Jesus Christ the same yesterday and today and forever!! I believe in a God who cannot lie
and He cannot fail!
