ALL Truth?
We have picked out a couple of personal doctrines that we consider to be ALL truth. These would be:
1. Oneness of the Godhead
2. Baptism in Jesus' Name
3. Holiness/Dress Code

My personal opinion on why God doesn't show ALL truth to those who have been baptized in the Spirit (including Catholic Charismatics) is that those three things I've listed there are not really important to God.

1. Oneness? what's that? We Oneness folks don't even agree among ourselves on what Oneness is. Look at the endless, confusing dialogues on this site. The Catholic and Protestant and Charismatic folks don't really believe in many gods. They believe there is one God who has come to us in the person of Jesus and who lives in us as the Holy Spirit. That, in my opinion, is the Bible definition of God. All our silly theological terms like "persons" or "substance" or "mighty God in Christ" or "triune" are just our silly little word games.

2. Baptism in Jesus' name? Who authorized baptism in Matthew 28? Jesus did and whenever we baptize whether by sprinkling, pouring, immersing or whatever we are doing it because He authorized us to do it so we are doing it in His name (by His authority) whether we vocalize His name in English or not.

3. Holiness/Dress code. That's not even worth time to write about. God's not in our dress code and cookie cutter Christian theology.

That's my two cents worth.

Looking our way? DKB is no more born again nor in the Kingdom than those others who will be attending (whatever church/organization/denomination) they come from.

We have roped off a tiny portion of the Body of Christ and called that little group THE TRUE CHURCH and have considered all outside our little group to be lost and not in THE TRUTH.

The people gathering there at ORU are a good representation of God's Church.

again, my opinion

I fully expect DKB's notes to come from his chapter in The future of Pentecostalism in the United States By Eric Patterson, Edmund John Rybarczyk

I am curious how many will attend this split-session (one of 190) and whether it will be the springboard to the greatest end-time Apostlic revival, Bernard is predicting ...

as he shared in a recent Youth Division interview: " I believe we are entering the greatest time of apostolic revival the world has ever known." (source: http://insideout.pentecostalyouth.or...david-bernard/)

It also appears he will sit in on a panel discussion on the 10th with his trinitarian peers.

Other pressing questions for the impartation services is "Will the Holy Spirit show up among those that don't practice practical holiness as defined by Bernard?" and if they are Spirit-filled .... why haven't they been led to all truth?
I am very happy to see this happen.

What makes you think the nine others on the panel are Trinitarian?

Just for the record.....the "other" meeting is not a WPF meeting. (No association at all) It is a long standing Apostolic Ministers Conference (AMC) that has been held at the same place for quite a few years.

It is my understanding that several WPF preachers will be in attendance. In fact, one of the main speakers is a top WPF official. I wouldn't say "no association at all".

Quite a few years? Haven't they been having meetings for under ten years?

Were you speaking evangelastically?

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

I see your smiley and raise you one IMHO just because some members of the WPF may attend or may be a speaker does not create an association (i.e. it was intimated that the meeting was a WPF event) any more than UPCI men who will/may attend would make it a UPCI meeting. In fact, as I understand it, this is why the meeting was called AMC, so as not to "associate" it with any one org/group.

As to the "quite a few years" comment, I think that any meeting that has been on going for 10 years or more would IMHO fit into the "quite a few" category.
