FROM simply means SINCE not before. Then the passage you cite to provr your Calvinistic doctrine in Mt.25:34 teaches NO such thing. The kingdom prepared is given to those who DO certain things mentioned in verses 35-46!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT some mystical election without the choice and the obedience of those spoken to.
Someone explain to my friend the difference between BEFORE & FROM he is confused.
I don't consider myself a Calvinist at all,but to be fair, Ephesians 1:4 says "according as he has chosen us in him BEFORE the foundation of the world....."

Also 2 Timothy 1:9 "BEFORE the world began...."

One thing that I have learned is that you can not argue with age, even when wrong.

Berk,
You shouldn't want to argue with age, if you're wrong. I know what you
are saying, and I would hope the one, aged or not, would be willing to admit
wrong, IF indeed, they are wrong!

Indeed. But it is not uncommon for someone not to want to admit they were wrong for such a long time. It was a bitter pill for me to swallow and I was only in the movement 11 years.

Re: Is Acts.2:38 The One Plan Of Salvation ?

I read the whole Thread, and it is SO SAD. It makes me feel like crying, repenting for the sins of our people.

Are we going to believe what man has come up with since/after the Bible was written, or are we going to believe the Bible?
