The thing is I don't know any trinitarians who "reject the Oneness of God". They see that "oneness" differently than Oneness Pentecostal folks do.
Sure you can find the oddball trinitarian who does not believe orthodox trinitarian doctrine who will say off the wall stuff but you also can find ignorant Oneness folks who misrepresent the Oneness doctrinal position.
What I am saying is that I can agree with your statement as it is written. By that I mean people like Hindu's, Buddhists, etc who are polytheistic cannot be saved without acknowledging the One true God. I do not agree with how a lot of OP's are going to receive your statement - that trinitarians are not saved by virtue of not understanding the godhead as we do.
CC, I said nothing about their understanding. I said they reject it.
I know lots of Trinitarians who reject the oneness notion. I also know lots of Apostolics who don't understand it, but they believe it anyway.

Ah, you are partially correct. There are some folks who have not followed YOUR idea of "the Biblical process" but have in my estimation. At least to the point of obtaining their salvation.
I wish that all men would be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and were filled with the gift of the baptism of the Holy spirit but I don't have to believe their eternal salvation is at stake if they have not done that yet.
You see the works of water baptism as essential to salvation where I see it as something a converted person should want to do as their response to their conversion.
You see the baptism of the Holy Spirit as essential to salvation where I see it as an empowerment for sanctification seperate from the work of the Holy Spirit in one's life when one accepts Christ work at Calvary and is saved by grace through faith.
But I do appreciate that you are mature enough to be nice to me even though you think I am going to hell !!!!
It's nice to think that this is all it takes and conversion is nothing more than a decision.... but I didn't ask the Question at Pentecost a unregenerate sinner did... and Peter answered... with the command...
I can't or won't argue with Peter or the Lord... Why have the Holy Ghost fall at all if it's not necessary? Why an upper Room.. Why the fulfillment of Joel's Prophecy?
