I don't have a problem with that. There must be a place for the same kind of grace and restoration that Peter received seven weeks after he committed a far worse sin than adultery. He preached the sermon that birthed the church and I'm afraid that Peter would have NEVER been allowed to speak on the Day of Pentecost in today's self-righteous Christian culture.
However, Bentley is a certified nutcase but I don't blame him for that either. I blame the enablers and supporters. One could logically argue that if one walks up to him for "healing" one would almost deserve whatever they get, including being kicked in the stomach.
For every "Peter Popoff" on TV, there are thousands of gullible idiots willing to send him money. It's just as much their fault as it is Popoff. No audience, no Popoff, simple as that.
