Of course! Like I said, I don't know why I say, "Do you know so and so?" I need to just tell him whatever it is that I want him to know..."

If he does come, don't tell Pastor Gary ahead of time, okay? Jon will love surprising him with a visit too!

We had an awesome service this morning filled with lots of energy. Last week we had one of three day camps we run during the summer. The theme of last week's day camp was a musical called Splash Kingdom. We had many visitors and both the worship part of the service and the musical itself were very upbeat and spiritually invigorating. It was a good musical for the unchurched as the ABC's of the gospel are clearly presented. Acknowledge, Believe, and Claim. There were several who did just that at the end of the presentation.

I'd never ruin the surprise. I just want to see his face when he sees y'all. I'm sure he'd be so glad that y'all came to visit.

I understand. And I knew without knowing that's why you chose the nic. I think it's funny - it just makes my brain work to hard to type it out!!

Both services were good. People in the altar both times, praying and seeking God.

We did a neat thing in the morning service today.
Our pastor is at camp, and the substitute he had planned on having here for today didn't end up panning out at the last minute. So he went to the website for the Alliance missionaries and checked out the current prayer needs. Then he had me make up Power Point slides for each country. One of the men in our church lead the 'sermon time'. He explained what we going to do and then as I put up the slide for a particular country, he would read the need for that country and then a scripture that fit perfectly. Then he would ask if someone in the congregation would take that need to the Lord in prayer. After they prayed we did the next country, and then the next and then the next and so on. We had about 15 countries and missionaries that we prayed for all over the world.
All of our music centered around the missions theme. Everything we did was missions related.
It was a GREAT service!!
