Well, I, for one, don't think a church service where there is nothing but music, hollering, running, jumping, dancing, falling, tongues all over the place, etc., and no preaching is "awesome".
Oh yeah, I forgot too. We are in the Deep Waters section.
I try to avoid this section.

It might be one of those things that you just have to be there.

The body without is Spirit is DEAD! Anytime you have no sign of emotion,
I would be concerned. There is a time for being emotional and there is a
time to sit and listen when the Word of God is being served up in a good
meal of "Bible" study. There is also that time of just being still and knowing
that He is God.
It could be that when you have a congregation that all they do
is run and jump and make a lot of noise and never have time for eating
the good Word of God, could be just a day-care center. Children at play.
When I was in elementary school, there was time for studying and a time
for recess, lunchtime and study hall time, etc. We were disciplined to obey
the rules and to learn to observe the time. Is it recess time or time to have
class or study hall, etc. Eccles. 3:1, tells us that "To every thing there is a
season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: (the next several
verses tells us of the times. Then we read that "HE hath made everything
beautiful in HIS time". In time we SHOULD grow up (mature) in Him.
Paul said that when he was a child, he spake as a child, he understood as
a child, he thought as a child: but when he became a man (grew up, matured,)
he put away childish things.
There is some distance between being a child and becoming a man. Coming
to maturity. There is a process in between. Some never grow up.

Just some thoughts, no offense intended.

Different people show emotion in different ways - I for one when I am very emotional I am very quiet - others are not that way it that is fine - the point is not to say that shouting, hollering etc should never be done but if there are those to do not worship in that way they should not be labeled as not being spirit filled.
Momofadramaqn that is exactly correct I hear people in my UPC Church all the time talk about other churches being dead (like baptist) just because they sit and worship I don't think god is bypassing there church to come down to the UPC church. That is one of the issues I have with the UPC church is some think that the upc will be the only ones in heaven. My own wife thinks I am not saved because I have not spoken in tongues. She has been raised UPC her whole life. The tongues thing is a whole seperate deal in itself.
My Grandfather told me something a long time ago ,that I will never forget as long as I live. It was when I first started my pulpit ministry. He said don't ever forget,"Its not how many you get on their feet, But how many gets on their knees."
